Woodcrest Student Birthday Generosity

Abby and Alexander Thoms, Grade 1 and Grade 5 students at Woodcrest Public School, celebrated their birthdays earlier this month.
As there would be no traditional birthday parties this year, instead of a presents they suggested friends and neighbours donate to the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA) and the Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Relief Fund.
Over two days, they collected 2 large boxes of food and $60 for the RFDA. Alexander also donated $250 of birthday money to the Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Relief Fund!
